New website, new billing panel, new publications. New new new.
We have been working behind the scenes for quite a while to bring a facelift to our own websites and billing panel. It's been a long process, and we're still working on adding in some features.
Our new website at cloudMonic will be updated frequently alongside our new integrated billing panel. We're calling it an integrated billing panel because we've merged billing panels with Create Azure LLC, our parent company.
When you're accessing the billing portal from cloudMonic's website, you'll be directed to portal.cloudmonic.com, whereas when you access the billing portal from Create Azure LLC's website you'll be directed to portal.createazure.com.
While the URLs are different, the billing portal is the same regardless of which URL you access it from. The same database servers, web servers, and load balancers handle both domains.
Each domain has its own SSL certificate, and is secured via HTTPS/TLS. There is no way to access our billing portal or our websites without using a secured HTTPS connection.
As long as you're on one of these domains, you are on an official version of our billing portal. Do not enter your billing information on any other site or domain, as it could be a fake phishing website.
You will be able to access services from both Create Azure LLC (web development, software development, project calculations and estimates, etc) and cloudMonic (server hosting, web and application hosting, systems engineering and monitoring packages, CDN hosting, etc) from either billing portal.
You'll also be able to access invoices, pay invoices, and communicate to our support team regardless of which billing portal you choose to use. We have made this integrated technology to reduce confusion between our two different companies, and to integrate billing to reduce the number of logins required.
Your logins on the portal are the same regardless of the URL you access it from, but if you are a current billing member from Create Azure LLC please read on to learn about the migration process.
Migration from the current billing system
We are not yet ready to migrate our entire billing system from Create Azure LLC. For the time being, only new clients that currently do not have a billing account with Create Azure LLC will be added to the new billing system.
This will change within the next few weeks. As we begin moving accounts over, you will receive an e-mail notification about the migration including instructions for logging into your new billing portal account.
Please note that you will not lose any client data in this migration, but your password will change. We will not be migrating accounts that have been inactive (ie. without a paid invoice) within the last 90 days at the time of migrations.
We retain customer data as per our Privacy Policy for up to one year. If your account has been inactive for more than one year, your data will be irreversibly erased from our systems and we will not be able to reactivate your account in the new billing portal.
If you are a previous customer without an invoice within 90 days, and need to request information from your billing portal you must do so within one year of the migration date, to be announced on both this publications site and our Create Azure LLC publications site.
As time progresses, we will provide future updates in additional posts on both this publication site and our Create Azure LLC publications site. Please be sure to follow or subscribe to these publication sites, as they will serve as our public notifications boards.
